After Hours

If you require medical attention outside Slievemore Clinic office hours the facilities below are available and can be contacted as follows:

Weekdays 6pm until 10pm: EASTDOC on 01-2094021
Weekends and bank holidays from 10am to 6pm: EASTDOC on 01-2094021.

EASTDOC is a cooperative of experienced doctors who practice in south Dublin. Each medic works a four-hour shift ensuring no-one is overstretched. This is not a walk-in service and the duty team prefer you telephone in advance to discuss your medical problem. You will then be offered a specific appointment time. Directions to the facility (located at the St Vincent’s Hospital campus, Merrion Road) will be provided.

House calls: because of Dublin's traffic congestion it may be impractical to provide a home-visit service.

To protect time for clinic patients (and save our sanity) we may arrange one of our colleagues or the Doctor-On-Duty-Service to provide the service. Contact the clinic first to explain the problem and a decision will be made as to how best deal with your needs.

If we decide to use the Doctor-On-Duty-Service you will be given an approximate time for the doctor to call to your home. As a patient of Slievemore Clinic we will be advised the next day of your problem and what treatment was offered.
