Paul Carson

Dr Paul Carson

has been involved in allergy management for over 20 years. He is the author of five popular health books dealing with allergy problems in children and has written numerous articles on allergy management for medical journals. He is a member of the British Society for Allergy & Clinical Immunology, The European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology and is on the board of the Irish Lung Foundation. Caroline Dore Geraghty

Dr Caroline Dore Geraghty

is a member of the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. She worked for some time as registrar in immunology and allergy in Beaumont hospital and it was during this time that she developed a keen interest in allergy. Caroline has published allergy related articles in major medical journals.



Caroline's early medical training include an academic scholarship into the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, graduating in 2002. She completed her internship in Beaumont Hospital and then enrolled on a Dublin medical training scheme where she gained experience in general medicine, infectious disease, medicine for the elderly and endocrinology. She subsequently obtained a certificate of general medical training in adult internal medicine.



Before moving to the Allergy Investigation, Diagnosis and Treatment facility at Slievemore Clinic, Caroline worked as clinical competencies tutor in the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. Caroline's main interest in allergy include food allergy and allergic skin diseases.

Hilary Sheehan

Hilary Sheehan

is our allergy nurse. Hilary qualified as a Registered General Nurse from St Vincent's Hospital Dublin in 1980. She did her Midwifery training in the Coombe Hospital and has obtained additional qualifications in Accident & Emergency and Oncology. She staffed in St Vincent's General Hospital and St Vincent's Private Hospital, and subsequently spent many years as a Nurse on the Irish Cancer Society's Helpline.



Before joining the Allergy Investigation, Diagnosis and Treatment facility at Slievemore Clinic, Hilary worked sessionally as a Practice Nurse in Blackrock and as a Quality Assurance Nurse with Home Instead Senior Care.

Mr Neil Riley FRCS ENT surgeon

is Graduate QUB, trained in ENT surgery in N. Ireland and London. Consultant ENT surgeon for 7 years with special interest in endoscopic sinus surgery. Mr Riley has operating rights in Kilkenny, Waterford, Mount Carmel and the Beacon hospitals in Dublin.
