Are you interested in a challenging career in a dynamic clinic! Whether you are a doctor, a nurse, a therapist or an administrator - we have an interest in hearing from you. As a rapidly expanding and dynamic organisation we are always interested in people who wish to contribute their skills towards the development of the clinic. We offer a stimulating and satisfying environment for a range of workers. We have structures in place to encourage commitment among staff and among the professionals who join us. Our staff have the benefit of good working environment, personal and professional support, generous remuneration, regular reviews, and a staff pension program.
Our current expansion has created a need for doctors who are interested in joining us. We can facilitate full or part time doctors. Our structures allow doctors to tailor their practice to their own style. We are looking particularly at people who are interested in long term commitments to the clinic. We have structures in place to allow people to establish themselves permanently in a premier clinic without financial handicap. We can tailor packages to the individual.
We have an interest in professional development and have regular clinical meetings where we share interests and advice, and support each other. We have the facility for clinical review.
We are interested in dynamic candidates who will augment the skills of the current group. We are particularly interested in certain groups
If you have an interest in opportunities at our clinic, whether you are in any of the above groups, or not, please contact Dr. Conor O'Toole at cot@slievemore-clinic.com.
Our current expansion has boosted the requirement for nursing staff to join our clinic. Our clinic provides an ideal environment for nursing care. In particular, primary care nursing allows nurses to develop long-term therapeutic relationships with patients, which can last years. This is a highly rewarding branch of nursing.
Nursing at our clinic is under the direction of our Nursing co-ordinator, Carmelita Griffin. We are looking for team members who will help expand the role of nursing within our clinic, and take on responsibility for current practices as well. Ideally nurses should be trained as practice nurses, or willing to embark on such training. Nurses should also be skilled in phlebotomy and immunisation (or be prepared to be trained in these areas). If you feel you would like to work with us - please contact Nurse Griffin, lg@slievemore-clinic.com at the Clinic.
Medical secretarial work at the Slievemore Clinic, is unlike any clerical/receptionist job elsewhere, and requires individuals who are caring and competent. Our secretarial staff are a highly trained and co-ordinated team. This is a challenging role, and for those who can join our team, a rewarding one. Computer literacy, good interpersonal skills and telephone skills are essential for this job.
We have an ongoing need for secretarial support, both full and part time. If you feel you have an interest in working as a part of a health care team, please contact the practice manager, Doreen Kelly, at dk@slievemore-clinic.com .
We are keen to develop the Slievemore Clinic into a comprehensive clinic, with a wide variety of services for our patients. We are keen to attract orthodox paramedical practitioners to compliment our services. We currently have a physiotherapist and a dietician on our team. If you have other skills that will compliment our clinic, and the idea of joining our team is appealing – please contact Dr. Conor O’Toole, cot@slievemore-clinic.com or Dr. Paul Carson pc@slievemore-clinic.com . (Sorry, we are not recruiting "alternative" practitioners!) Our commitment is to provide a first class primary health facility to our patients. If you have something to offer, please let us know.
