With our hospitals creaking under the pressure of demand, at Slievemore Clinic we provide an emergency assessment unit. This is designed to offer you a first line point-of-contact for such emergency events as asthma attacks or similar breathing difficulties, abdominal pains, sprains and sudden joint aches or swellings. We can also deal with emergency cuts, lacerations and gashes and can stitch such wounds within an hour of attendance. If you have private health insurance this 'wound facility' may be covered, sparing unnecessary expense.
