I grew up in Mount Merrion and was educated at Willow Park School and Blackrock College and then I went to Medical School at The College of Surgeons.

Having worked in Hospital Medicine for several years and gained significant surgical experience I opted to make use of my surgical skills in dentistry and went to Bristol Dental School and qualified in 1994.

I then returned to Ireland and set up a new dental surgery in Palmerstown.

More than 10 years on the opportunity presented to be part of Slievemore Clinic and furthermore design my own dental practice.

I am a member of the Endodontic (Root Canal) Society and the Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry.

I work mostly with the advantage of an operating microscope and I am especially interested in aesthetic dentistry ,bleaching , veneers , partial veneers , veneer crowns ,root canal treatments, paediatric dentistry , trauma & oral medicine.

I am firmly committed to evidence based treatments and I actively continue my professional development through reading extensively and attending international courses.

At Slievemore dental we have two fully equipped surgeries with some of the most modern equipment on the planet!

Eimear Mithen is our dental hygienist and is also a Trinity College graduate.

I am married with two children and my hobbies include travel, photography, interior design, skiing, cooking, french and most recently iMacs.
