Lita Griffin RN qualified in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin in 1983. Having spent sometime in general nursing she became a registered Midwife, completing her training in Scotland where she also obtained a certificate in Neonatal Intensive Care. Returning to Ireland in 1989 Lita returned to St. Vincent’s Hospital to undertake the A&E course and worked as a Senior Staff Nurse in the A&E Department for a further 4 years. In 1993 because of family commitments Lita moved to the UK where she worked for a further two years in A&E in the West Midlands.

In 1995 Lita joined a General Practice in Dudley and then transferred to a General Practice as a Nurse in Hull, Yorkshire where she worked as an Asthma Care specialist as well as Practice Nurse. Lita has a diploma in Practice Nursing and a Diploma in Asthma Care as well as a Diploma in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention.

On returning to Ireland in 2001 Lita worked first in a Practice in Ballybrack before joining the team at the Slievemore Clinic in 2003.
